Tropical Storm Update: August 23, 9 A.M.
In preparations of upcoming tropical storms, Laura and Marco, here is a morning update from our partners at the Mississippi Weather Network.
9AM TRACKING THE TROPICS UPDATE: There have been a few minor changes in the forecast with Marco and Laura. Marco is actually fighting some dry air that is disallowing some major development, but is still forecast to make landfall as a 75mph Cat.1 Hurricane tomorrow afternoon. Laura, however, is expected to rapidly intensify and make landfall as a 100mph Cat.2 Hurricane very early Thursday Morning.
